Cruzin South moving to old DOTS location

The former DOTS restaurant in Olive Branch Old Towne will soon become the new home of Cruzin Sports and Cruzin South Magazine.
The sports store and magazine currently operate out of cramped space at 9128 Pigeon Roost Road, just down the street from the restaurant, which closed at 9119 Pigeon Roost Road in late July. So while the move won’t be too strenuous for owners, it will be beneficial to customers.
Owner Donna Wadford, former owner of the former Donna’s Grill in Olive Branch, said at the new location, the store will add a lounge area and television. It will also offer light concessions such as homemade cookies and chips as well as hot chocolate, coffee, and “the best sweet tea,” Wadford said.
“It will be more shopper friendly and sort of a community hang out,” she said, “where people can come in, visit with us and grab a snack while they’re shopping. There’s really no place like that in Old Towne.”
The store will continue to sell sports merchandise including autographed shirts and other materials, the latest NFL and NASCAR items such as diecast cars, hats, coats, shirts, pillows, blankets, jewelry and keychains. Merchandise of major colleges such as University of Mississippi shirts, hats and belts will also be sold.
Copies of Cruzin South Magazine will also be available to customers. The bi-monthly Mid-South sports magazine will celebrate its two-year anniversary in December.
